Allen Blevins, CPA/Lawyer

Allen W. Blevins is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) as well as an attorney. Mr. Blevins obtained a bachelor of applied science degree, with a double major in accounting and business management, from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 1991. Mr. Blevins received numerous academic achievement awards while attending Tennessee Wesleyan College and graduated with highest honors. In 1994 Mr. Blevins graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Law, with honors. While in law school Mr. Blevins received special recognition for his academic achievement in the areas of contracts, estate planning, estate tax, and gratuitous transfers. Mr. Blevins is a frequent speaker on the topics of estate planning, tax, and corporate issues at various professional meetings and seminars around the region. In addition to his various speaking engagements Mr. Blevins has written articles for several statewide professional publications. Mr. Blevins has served as an adjunct professor at various colleges teaching various accounting and law courses, and he has also been an instructor for the Becker/Convisor CPA review course. Professional organizations of which Mr. Blevins has been a member of include the Knoxville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, the Knoxville Estate Planning Council, the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Blevins has served as a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council and Presidential Business Commission, has served on the Small Business Committee of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants at both the local and state level and has served on the Taxation Committee of such organization at the state level. In addition to being a member of various professional organizations, Mr. Blevins has served on several committees and as a director for various charitable organizations.
